Why New Consoles Won't Matter in 2020s

Unless these companies are prepared to support Elon's Skylink to cover everyone on the planet or just airdrop fiber to every gaming person, thats a big nope. Not to forget that it matters so much that the service is located close to you rather than your actual internet speed. The subscription services that gives netflix/hbo/prime like access to games is definitely a much better and safer bet for the next decade, spending a few minutes to download something is much better than having laggy or low res games because its streaming, with fiber internet speeds you can just delete games you aren't playing, it will only take making something to drink to get them back again.

Honestly once the discs are gone from gaming I've decided I'm done. I've got a collector mentality so if I can't put it on my bookshelf to collect dust then I don't see the point in "buying" it.
