That's what I've always been saying about freedom of speech. And not to go on a tangent, that's what freedom of religion is as well. You're free to do/believe what you want, you can't make me believe/act the way you do, under any circumstance. I'm surprised we haven't seen bans like this more often in the gaming community. It's always part of the ToS and it's all perfectly legal since you're not being jailed for your thoughts or actions (for the most part). Maybe it's time for a wake up call to those who are ignorant enough to believe such nonsense and they might actually take a second to think about what they say online now.

I'm not sure exactly when public discourse, the ability to understand basic cause & effect relationships, actual knowledge of history and how it shapes ideals was lost, but it would be pretty freaking rad if those things became foundational and fashionable again.

Look I have no sympathy for neo-nazis or the kkk they're all fucking retards, but does this mean they'll be shutting down Antifa discords as well, since they're basically the Alt Lefts equivalent to Alt Right groups like kkk and neo-nazis. The world needs to be rid of both extremist groups but it if Discords doesn't go after Antifa as well this is a biased as fuck censorship
we understand that free speech is only in regards to the government censorship however peoples problem is that all of these companies claim to be free communication services in adverts and then ban people the moment some sjw or conservative equivalent bitches
