Know they have quite a bit of money too.  

Steam users are too entrenched. Unless one can migrate one's 100+ game library to another service for little to no cost, there's really not much incentive. 

Unless it looks good, supports the amazing games steam does, user friendly, and easy to use it will fail. CS:GO, TF2, Dota 2 are all valve games and people will only play a platform with them as they are all HUGE. Without something like this Amazon has no chance.

This is great news.  More competition means more options and deals for consumers.
