Next Season
Well it's to fucking late to address the for honor issues. If they can't release a decent game there's no use fixing it after half of the playerbase stopped playing it. Most of those that stopped playing the game won't return to it after it has been fixed.
Ubisoft has been releasing sub-par games for the last 3 years now. They used to make decent game that had little issues when they launched but it seems something has changed. Assassins creed syndicate, rainbow six siege, the division, for honor all had major bugs and/or internet issues on launch.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: If your game does not meet launch expectations DONT RELEASE IT. In the end you'll lose way more players and money by releasing a sub- par game that you mend over a few months.
Lately, I've been of the mindset to be extremely cautious of any game YouTubers (and AH) play as sponsored content. Personally, I think if your game can't sell itself, you've got more work to do.
This was especially clear with Steep (the price didn't help), but really anything Ubisoft comes out with I'm skeptical about. I don't have an issue revealing I'm completely desensitized by Jack and his raging bearded boner for all things Ubisoft.
All in all, when AH (or anyone else) features a sponsored video game, I wait. I mean, I wait until at least a week or two after the game's release. For me, if a YouTube channel (Let's Play included) only plays a game for the sponsored episode and never touches it again, I'm typically not going anywhere near it. That being said, I joined The Division nearly six months after release, and the updates done to it up to that point made it quite enjoyable for my friends and I.
In the end, I believe Vhoxz put it best: If your game isn't ready, don't put it out.
I'd like to add that this is the exact reason to never pre-order any game.
Any. Game.
Ever.
Jak and Daxter's great and I'm SO HYPED for Crash, but I'm just waiting for the Sly trilogy (Or all 4), Ratchet and Clank 2-6, and the Spyro reboot trilogy for PS4.
PETA: People eating tasty animals
Does Peta not realize when you bitch about everything people stop listening to you? How dare Nintendo have a simple goofy milking game without addressing the cruel dark world of milking cows. I only drink milk from cows suffering from spousal abuse.
The Jak and Daxter PS4 releases are awesome and I'm really excited Jak X was included! It's pretty much the only racing game I actually like and it's going to be really nice not to have to dig out my PS2 to play it.
An AI that can swear creatively would indeed be something to see... but don't expect one any time soon, swearing well is actually one of the harder things to do linguistically!
