How many passes is pewdiepie gonna get?!?
I'll agree that dropping the "N" bomb is bad, but you have to give some slack. I mean, If he is racist for saying that word or antisemitic for making Nazi/Jew jokes. Some people have harsh senses of humor. If we were to apply this logic elsewhere, the results can be interesting. Burnie is racist (he said the "N" word too), Ray from AH is homophobic from multiple different occasions, and Geoff/Gavin are sexual predators (Connect the hots). This does not mention the multiple anti-trans and ableism stuff many of the staff have said throughout the years. Different people have different types of humor and we can't all get offended when people talk.
@Blue6erry - There is a pretty hard line in humor when it comes to racial slurs, only the most experienced/skilled can use them and get away with it. Beyond that, he dropped it with a pretty hard r and no humor context. There is no good reason why a racial slur is on the tip of somebody's tongue.
I'm not trying to say that there was a good reason, just that so many others have done the same. The humor point was more meant to be about the Jew jokes. But here is the thing, just because somebody is okay with saying any word, they are not racist. I, a white bleeding heart liberal, have said the N word before. Where I'm from, the word is avoided out of fear, not respect.
@Blue6erry - Yeah, I avoid it out of fear too. Fear that I will hurt people or piss them off. And us whities should really not be comfortable with the word, since it was invented by us to look down on others as an inferior race (like most other racial slurs). So don't give me some bull saying that it's not racist to feel comfortable saying a racial slur, or that it's ok because other people on the net say it too.
There have been two more Shadowruns, both for the PC. (Or three, depending upon how one counts.)
Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Dragonfall, which was originally a module for Returns, and Shadowrun: Hong Kong.
They're pretty great, and a bit like X--Com. I highly recommend them.
