I love Halo, but good. They need to take their time and send the main series out with a bang. I'm sure it has something to do with the SAG strike, but they should be taking this time to make a good story. There are a lot of loose ends to tie up and hopefully it'll be longer than Halo 5. In the meantime, there's dozens of books and comics to keep us story nerds entertained, and plenty of multiplayer games for people who want those. 

Good take longer to make games. Release a game at launch not a buggy piece of shit that doesn't work for a month till for first patch comes out. People need to have patience so developers can iron out everything so the game is great.

As someone who considers themselves among the "Halo faithful" as y'all decided to put it, nah. I'm not sure why this became a point of focus. I wasn't expecting to hear anything about Halo 6 this year and didn't even consider it before ya'll started bring up its absence. Halo 5 still seems pretty fresh in my mind, its supplementary material is still coming out fairly consistently, and we know they'll make 6 in due time. As things stand, I do trust 343 to get to it when its good and ready. Also I felt a bit less invested in Halo 5's cliffhanger than Halo 2's.
