Split-Screen Halo RETURNS + Paladins Pay-to-Win OUTRAGE + Oculus Rift Sales BLOCKED?

Man, this Batman movie is turning into a game of musical chairs. Hopefully things stabilize with DC, I actually liked Man of Steel and BvS and hope that the franchise can continue.

Speaking from what I learned from professors at school, it is possible to lose trademarks if not properly defended. Nintendo needs to be careful about how their brand is represented, and they have licensed out characters in the past. And... that led to some amazingly bad games decades ago. So it's not too surprising that they'd hammer down on a business whose marketing strategy, guessing by the name, revolves around other company's characters. It's a brand name Nintendo has built and maintained for decades, and other companies trying to get a slice of that really do muddy the water. 

Plus, if there's still plans in the works for a nintendo-universal park partnership, those partners have a vested interest in keeping their ideas and licenses exclusive. 

I've been playing Paladins since OB11 and the new system is not in any way pay2win, you can buy the chests that drop essence with gold now (before this i had nothing to spend gold on at all)

The gold and essence drop rates are so high that I've already gotten all the new cards with a so much left over I don't think i'll ever run out

Also the gameplay footage you used is extremely outdated.
