Most memorable line from Silence Of The Lambs "She puts the lotion in the basket"
And here I was hoping that live action Lion King was a joke. So I have to ask, why?
because when they did it to jungle book they made more money then expected.
Please, we HAVE to stop calling The Lion King live-action. Still not as bad as when people call Star Wars 7 a reboot though
It's not going to have anything live at all so it's not live and it's not an action movie so it's not action either... completely agree with you... it's just a CGI animated movie.
@RiverRunning Well, "action" in this sense doesn't apply to the type of genre. The Sound of Music is live-action. La La Land is live-action.
@DavidtheWavid I am aware of that but I was going overboard for effect... it's not live-action (as far as I can tell) in any way what so ever... ;)
Am I the only one that likes the idea of the Halo series moving away from Chief? As someone who has been a halo fan my entire life, I preferred Team Osiris over Team Blue
I don't understand a live action version of the Lion King. There are no people in the story so it is only going to be a more realistic version of what we've already seen.
Nathan Fillion or Buck was the only thing I liked about Halo 5.
Oh come on. It wasn't the best, but taking down the Kraken was at least fun.
I would honestly be surprised if people didnt know about Night Trap. As ashley said its 50% of the reason we have an Esrb, the other being mortal kombat. I always assumed that game was infamous for helping establish the ESRB. I never played it but ive just known about it.
I didnt think Halo 5 story was too bad. Sure i wouldve wanted more chief but i dont want to fault them for trying something new. Seems like a bad president when people are too scared to try something new in an industry that literally lauds peoples graces for shaking up the meta. After all it worked for halo 2 letting players see the universe from the arbiters perspective. I wont say halo 5s story was great and they could have done a few things better.
I agree. And I thought people's biggest problem with the story of Halo 5 was the advertising put such an emphasis on the conflict between the Chief and Locke. I didn't know that the amount of time with Chief was as big an issue.
I wasn't that bothered by halo 5, everyone knew it was a middle child the same way Halo 2 was. I am, however, very excited to see where they go after the end of 5, because i doubt they'll simply wrap it up in one sequel, which after they acknowledge 5's shortcomings would mean any spin offs and sequels should be phenomenal.
TL;DR People always pretend they hate new Halo. 5 was falsely advertised. Hoping for Sangheili spinoff to give 6 breathing room.
Here's the thing. People always hate whatever the newest Halo game is (with the exception of Wars 2, surprisingly). I remember before I was a fan everyone hated Wars and ODST and later Reach, then they hated 4, then they hated Spartan Assault (with good reason) and of course people are STILL pretending the Master Chief Collection doesn't work. Halo 5 was okay and I really appreciate what they accomplished artistically, but the marketing for that game borders on false advertising. They basically said we'd get two Halo games' worth of content with half of it focusing on Locke and half on John. We got, what, 9 short and 3 even shorter levels of Locke, and 3 levels on John?
6 is confirmed to be the last game about John (Then again, maybe they can say since 5 was 70% about Locke that Halo 6 and 7 can be about John. There really should be 7 games). Honestly I thought we'd be getting a game focusing on Thel and the Sangheili Civil War since I really hope 6 focuses on the Bornstellar plot twist if it can even be considered a twist anymore. The credits of 5 said "See you on Sanghelios" instead of the usual "see you starside" and that plot was left gaping open in Halo 5. 6 can't do what 5 did and have two or three plots going at once, and people love Thel enough and want to play as Elites again so much that I'm sure a Sangheili spinoff would succeed. I think (speculation) Locke was supposed to take up the torch once John retires but maybe that plan has changed with his poor reception/bad writing. Who's the only player character who hasn't died yet? Thel. And I guess Red Team, but...
*Deep breath* Sorry, that was long.
