It's good that they're going for a change of combat styles. While they might lose some of their old audience, they are going to draw in so many new customers with the higher action focus the new titles are bringing.

i kind of see where you are coming from with the need to change but i dont think in the case of a remake its necessarily the way to go as its aimed to a degree people who liked the original change that too much and it may as well be a new game.  I just dont like the combat in ff15 and after playing persona 5 i really enjoyed the older style turn based.  Look at time played i gave up on ff15 after 90 mins im nearer 90 hours into persona (now thats not all combat system mi hate the fact the npcs in ff15 wont stfu as well)
