Next Season
I wouldn't be terribly surprised about the unemployment. When I was an undergrad, there were a large number of people who dropped out of software engineering because of playing video games (surprise!), especially World of Warcraft. The main advisor for the program had seen so many people drop out due to poor grades from spending so much time on WoW that she'd lecture aspiring freshman about that game specifically and scold seniors who would teasingly mention it.
For the percentage vs game time for game refunds, if its a percent, what is stopping open world games like Skyrim to having a ridiculous refund period if you just avoid certain quests.
I finished ABZU in under 2 hours but I didn't request for a refund because the game earned the money I payed for it.
Not sure about link between video games and unemployment. It makes sense that someone who is not working might play more video games than someone who is because they have more time to play. Kind of similar to how Ice cream sales and crime rate can rise at the same time. But would have to read the study.
once more a misleading story
the 'AI' is not intelligent and thus not capable of bias the story really describes a generalized misogynistic and racist attitude of the vocal minority of wherever the 'AI' did its learning
