Why 'The Hobbit' Sucked

I don't care. I still enjoyed these movies and if anything this left me with a greater respect for Peter.

Also, did they happen to watch the extended edition to BotFA from which that behind-the-scenes clip was taken? Vastly improved over the original cut.

I still liked the movies. No it wasn't better than the original trilogy but I wasn't expecting it to be anyways. LOL Now this just to explain why it wasn't as good is all and I'm ok with that haha

I think that if Peter Jackson had started working on The Hobbit trilogy from the begining like he did the LOTR trilogy it would have been a lot better. He spent a long time working on the LOTR films before anything even began.

It's such a relief to know that I wasn't the only one who thought that the Hobbit movies weren't the best. Thaaaank goodness. They had their good moments, I won't deny that, but I didn't like them ultimately, even though I do love Tolkien.

Maybe I have lack of taste, perhaps everyone is a bunch a jaded pricks, mayhaps something in between? In any case, I enjoyed the films greatly and even MORE than the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (blasphemy!). That is not to say that I didnt enjoy the originals, but I genuinely thought it these were better movies. Also....no hobbit humping frodo and sam....dear god the relationship between those two was agonizing for me in the last two movies.

Oh well, everyones go opinions and perspectives....these were mine.
