Do the judges have so little to do that this got through?
Actually this case has the potential to set precedence over how false advertising applies to movie trailers. So if a judge is looking to cement their place in legal history they might be eager to issue a ruling, which includes their reasoning for the ruling, for the case. What this potentially means is that if the lawsuit is successful then it could mean many other studios getting sued, conversely if it fails it could mean trailers can show something completely different from the actual movie and get away with it so long as people continue to go see their movies.
I have a feeling that this is just another fan that took their disapproval too far. This isn't the first time scenes got cut from the final product, nor will it be the last. The bills this BlackPanther2016 is going to end up causing himself due to the court case and everything is not worth the freaking 160 pounds he's so butthurt about. If people wanted to really do something about scenes being cut that are used in trailers, they would follow someone with a little more sense than this guy. His argument, while not swimming in filth and badmouthing that some people tend to do, has little to no backbone and his "skillset" is irrelevant to the point of his argument.
Suicide squad was not a good movie at all. It's not 26% on rotten tomatoes bad but it is still not a great movie.
As a Scotsman, I find this video to be incredibly racist
As a Scot, I found it incredibly funny, and also Jon's accent? Not half bad!
im 300 miles from nearest movie theater and i live in murica :(
Every Entertainment News video this month has been Suicide Squad.
8/9 of the videos in the last 3 weeks are about the DC CU.
Maybe change it up a little?
I don't understand why you're making fun of this guy so much then while trying to make a joke, validate his suit. I haven't seen the movie but if it's like you're describing where the commercials portray the Joker as a major part in the film and he actually has a very small part then that really is false advertising. It's as you said more people know the Joker so maybe more people will see the movie if it's advertised this way. That's literally a bait and switch. Just because it's common in the industry to pull something like this, where they don't advertise what the movie is actually about in an effort to get more people to watch it, doesn't make it right. So quit laughing it off.
The fact that he's suing the company is ridiculous. EVERY studio does this. They shoot tons of footage, people edit some amazing clips together to make an enticing trailer to initiate excitement. If anyone expects some judge that's been in a courtroom for YEARS to take this suit seriously, then they have another thing coming.
Plus that redditor seems to be a bit of a troll.
That, and the dumbass drove from Scotland to London to see the film. Scotland has Cinemas.
Pre-On the Spot Jon vs. post-On the Spot Jon:
post on the spot looks like a mugshot.
"I killed them all. Everyone, the guest stars, the crew. I saw Tyler running, i shot him in the foot and watched him bleed. I destroyed the set, killed Gus with Golden Gus, Gavin in slow motion. It was glorious" -Jon Risinger (2018 - 5 minutes after the last episode of OTS)
this guy is just another fully grown 5 yr old
the guy is a idiot, it's suicide squad not joker and these random assholes doing things.
also the movie was better off with less joker, Leto was not good
