Off with the hat Zaine.
I'm still convinced I'm the only one in the Universe who likes the prequels...
You're not, I like them, in fact my favorite Star Wars movie is RotS
They have their moments. They're good movies, but held up against the OT they don't fare as well.
I like the prequels the movie itself may not be good but the story of Republic Factory made clones vs. Separatist factory made droids is just awesome
God, I hate when people say crap like this. Statistically speaking the chances of you being the ONLY person on earth ( out of 7 BILLION) to only like something is ridiculously low; practically non-existent......much less the whole Universe.
Soooo excited really liked the feel of this trailer, I think 7 lost a lot of that dark under tone that the original trilogy always had. But this trailer definitely gives me that same sort of vibe as the old ones. Still wish It was Grand Admiral Thrawn, but hey this dude could do well. This one seems to have a much stronger villain which could help give it that dark feel.
7 was pretty dark mate, don't know what movie you saw.
Donnie Yen a samurai?...ouch!
He's Chinese, xD.
He's in space. C3PO isn't british.
so we only get the funhaus guys MAYBE once a week on here?
Not gunna lie the only reason I'm seeing this one is because Donnie Yen is in it!
My personal speculation that main hero lady, will turn out to be captain phasma because of the old black guy at the end yappin on about capture and breaking her and the ending scene. But what do I know it could just be a disguise.
Technically that can't be possible because the main hero lady (Gin) is about the same age as Luke in the original trilogy and really she's most likely going to be too old to be Captain Phasma and the fact that Phasma is like the best fighter in the First Order which i find skeptical if she were that old. Secondly there are rumors about the ending scene showing how they were to get get on the Death Star by disguising themselves in TIE Fighter outfits. Lastly, I think the whole thing about getting broken has to do with the fact that they are all vulnerable with no special abilities and have weaknesses. There is a rumor going around that the man in the black is an inquisitor and could possibly use the force on the protagonists and that's where the part about capturing and breaking all has to with. You have a decently good theory and could possibly be right but these are just a few things that could give you something to think on.
im thinking those are pirate/smugglers/scum bounty hunters shes recruiting for her team, and their attacked by the at-at's. i don't think the rebels would kamikaze charge like that. or their trying to get to their ships, maybe carrying Luke epV style at-at belly bombs, IDK but yeah shadowtrooper hands down best disguise to get the plans come on.
So I guess Blane hasent watched the season finale of Star Wars Rebels since after that Asoka is most likely dead
If they wanted to kill her, they'd show it. She's prone to the Dark Side and Vader tried to turn Luke before killing him. He's probably trying to save Ahsoka.
Yay-vin 4? It's not pronounced Yah-vin 4? This James guy from ScrewAttack isn't the best intern.
Blaine's a big Star Wars nerd and probably thought he pronounces it right.
Personally thought the guy in the white Admirals Uniform was Admiral Pellaeon since he was in A New Hope at the table onboard the Death Star with the Moffs when Vader nearly killed one of them
I was thinking it was Yularen. He wears white in 4.
Lego nerd here.
The image they showed at the toy fair is of a pre-existing set, the UCS version of Slave 1. It came out last year.
UCS (Ultimate Collector Series) is a separate "sub-theme" of Star Wars sets. They have no specific tie-in to any movie/theme nor do they carry the specific packaging other sets have at the time they're released (i.e. current sets sport Kylo Ren's mug, previously they carried a Stormtrooper helmet as a slight tie-in to Rebels).
Thus it's likely just a nice place-holder image Lego decided to use. They've been known to use greyed out pre-existing sets as place holder images in the past.
Not to rain on the Boba Fett parade, because he's my fave. But it's not a clue, not from my perspective.
