That's unfortunate, but It didn't look that promising anyway.
That's sad. TBH I was hoping the 4 hoursemen would make for an interesting and complex group of antagonists, but there's really not much you can do with a story about Apocalypse if you're just going to use him for a giant CGI action scene.
From what i understand it really goes back to more of magneto vs professor X and less into the horseman and apocolypse beyond his i want to destroy the world thing. But i could very well be wrong about that.
Poor X men lets put our movie out right in the middle of all these other great movies it'll do fine. oops.
"I do words good."
I agree, Captain America Civil War definitely was awesome.
So apocalypse is sooo powerful he destroyed the series his in. Id say hes done more than thanos but it really doesn't help apocalypse.
Chris Stuckman gave it an A- on it. It wasn't that bad, just that, "The first 20-30 mins are extremely slow." and "It's a movie that makes you wait"
I think it'll be good by his judgement :)
These reviews make me sad. I thought it looked good from the trailers. I just hope I do enjoy it. Also FUCKING LOVE MEG'S T-SHIRT.
I wonder if the films release being so close to Captain America affected the reviews much. If you watch a great movie, then watch one that is simply okay, it may come off as worse just because you still have that mindset of that first film.
you could say did BvS up the civil war reviews, it didnt for me so i doubt civil war will effect my views on apocalypse
I didn't have high hopes to begin with, but damn. I wouldn't say it will be the worst of the year or worse than Last Stand, it'll just be "meh." I'm okay with that.
Why would you go by what random people on the internet say about the movie when it's better to GO OUT and see the movie yourself? Seriously, Forbes and a lot of the sites/reviewers you quoted are pretty bloody biased.
Because a lot of people have a limited amount of time/money and rely on reviews and word of mouth to see if a movie is likely to be worth it to them
