Look, If a game needs more work then yeah push it, but what game isn't pushed these days? Perhaps they should hold of announcing a release date until they know.
Delays, delays, delays!: There’s no real point in caring for delays anymore. It’s a nice turnaround to so many games being broken upon release for the last 3 - 4 years now. We still get broken games, but it could have been more broken at its initial release window
Space man for a year: It’s cool to see another astronaut back on earth. I’m a huge advocate of space travel and hoping one day our little planet is no longer our only home. Hope his testing come out as a-okay
Coleco Scam?: Regardless of whether or not this is a scam, the fact this is being reported is more proof that there has to be an overseer to this shit. As a concept, crowd funding is great. If people want to see something be made, they support it with their money. However, in the real world, people like to scam the shit out of other people. Even if it wasn’t the original intention, it doesn’t change the result of the lack of a product and the loss of their money. I’m not going to say the government has to regulate this but there needs to be some level of regulation because this is getting ridiculous...
Emmy for YouTube?: This is an interesting move and I can already predict negative criticism. However, I think this is great. The effort put into YouTube videos should be recognized. I’m not saying that, “Oh vloggers and prankers should win awards” and such. I’m more acknowledging productions. There are legitimately amazing content creators on YouTube that should be recognized. Not everything necessarily have to be Pewdiepie
Washington stars in 300?: Like I’ve stated before. Fuck it. Hollywood, do whatever you want. If it flops, I hope you learn from your mistakes. If it doesn’t... well... Washington won’t be dining in Hell.
Star Wars Style Guide: That’s kind of interesting. I remember the hullabaloo of Disney dropping the hammer on the extended universe, so creating a guide *for* the canon universe seems like an interesting move to do.
VR not interesting to people: VR is in a very weird place. They’re trying to get a foothold in relevancy but really has no way of showing off the gimmick without physically showing it to you. The only way to do that is to make it affordable, and that sure as shit ain’t what VR is at the moment. Personally, if VR can one day find its place in homes, I’m sure more than just gamers will realize its potential and eventually become a success. However, considering the fact it’s a $800+ piece of technology, I don’t see many people running to buy these regardless of how cool their gimmick is. Might have had a better chance selling these to architects
Living Super Computer: Arnold, I’m waiting for you to guide me to the super bunker.
The Dark Tower Cast: Did not even know this was a thing, that’s kind of cool. I’ll probably keep that on my radar. Then again, it’s hard to forget the horror that was the Mist and its CGI. But, it’s Stephen King so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.
History major? That's awesome, I wonder what her favored era is
As a fan of the musical Hamilton, I forfeit my right to complain about Snyder's idea for George Washington. Though I'm still not happy about it.
Kinda looking forward to the Dark Tower stuff, if only because I couldn't remotely get through the second book. (Seriously, two chapters in and we're talking about lobsters and dehydration or some shit? I tried so hard.)
More console wars bullshit. I bet 99% of the viewers had no trace of a thought of wanting Uncharted pushed back indefinitely, push back is usually a good thing. Good on Phil, and most decent people to root for the competition, it breeds excellence.
Meg's a tad heavy on the fanboy usage this week, no?
As a PS person who respects anyone's choice of console (or PC), it's nice Spencer said that there should be no console war (even though they hogged Rise of the Tomb Raider which is definitely grounds to start a war). Then there's the niggling voice in the back of everyone's mind saying "he prrrrrobably said that because xbox one is losing the 'console war', and wouldn't have commented if PS and XB switched places" ... not criticising that, just find it kinda funny.
