Sad to see GT go. The retrospectives were the highlight of my time there. Although looking back, I was first exposed to ScrewAttack and RWBY on that very site.

I think the Ubisoft issue was actually the developer being honest. Many of the features and graphical options that was prevelant in the games early days from E3 and other shows clearly indicates a significant change from what we have now. At least enough to point to restrictions they had to place on the new engine when considering the consoles. While the drop of the tablet/phone driven UAV was dropped for "Balance", I think it was more due to it not being an option on the consoles and ultimately something they had to drop in pursuit of meeting all three platforms. But perhaps that's me being a little more distrusting of Ubisoft since the Watch Dog's hidden graphics and clear departure from their previously solid PC support.

I'll be the one to nit pick, Moore's Law is the number of transistors on a chip doubling, not the processing power.
