Considering the number of young'ns that don't even know who fought on what side in WWII, I'm honestly not surprised they're worried about WWI...

i can't honestly tell you where i learned about WWI. i think one time in a high school history class did we cover it. and by one time i mean, mentioned in one or two classes.

that being said, what's more surprising is that references to WWI crop up throughout american media periodically and despite that people miss it or don't internalize it. i think thats the crux of everyones bewilderment about this - everyone just consumes media differently than everyone else.

As a person that loves to study history, it hurts me that people evidently have so little knowledge things so recently.
