If Meg (who stood on a box because she was shorter than Ashley) is gone and Ashley's the only one on this report, why does she need to stand on a box? Can't they lower the tripod?

Honestly, Elder Scrolls wouldn't work as a movie. The things about it that are fun just wouldn't translate well. I've never played Fallout, but I've heard it's very similar. The universe might work, but I'm doubtful.

i don't understand the earth overshoot story

if we use more resources than we produce in a year every year for decades, how are we still using the resources? do we have a crazy stockpile of everything that we haven't managed to blow through yet?
