I don't know how to feel about the monster hunter movie news, because I love monster hunter but the director and the proposed plot makes me double down on the hopes of an awesome studio making an anime instead.

So.. unannounced doesn't always mean "new IP" I mean... With your example of Overwatch, they could be looking for someone with more experience in FPS Campaigns, since it will surely play out MUCH differently than how Overwatch plays now..

I feel like with Blizzard pushing for Overwatch to become big in the "competitive FPS scene", and their announcement of the Overwatch League and everything, it would be odd for them to make a new game to compete with their own game... Just saying..

It could be, that it's "unannounced" because they don't want people to get over excited about it too early, because it's far out. Of course, that argument could be made for the new IP as well, since we won't be seeing it for years. (probably)
