Let's not give Fox credit. After the leak and then the fan petitions to keep Deadpool as Rated R, they pretty much had to let Deadpool be made the way the creators intended. Even with the budget they gave them, everyone behind the movie made it work. Let's just hope they (fox) don't fuck up the inevitable sequels like Spiderman 3 or Amazing Spiderman 2 (both of which I enjoyed and the latter I though didn't deserve all the shit it got).
Just an FYI, Neanderthals are humans, just a different species than us. Meg keeps referring to them as if they aren't humans. Just something that kinda bugged me :P
I really hope that Ryan Reynolds and co, can make Deadpool 2 just as good. Sure they will have a larger budget than $58Mil. But having a larger budget can be a bad thing.
If this is going to be the last Wolverine movie for Hugh Jackman, I hope they retire the character for at least 10 years. Who knows, they may even introduce Wolverines son Daken into the universe to be a substitute. R rating was definitely what Deadpool needed, but a Wolverine movie R rated? It gives them more freedom I guess,.
If the Nintendo NX is cheaper, and if it brings a lot to the table compared to VR. I think it will do well. Who knows, maybe all 3 major VR brands will take the kinect route and fail miserably.
I don't think the Street fighter fight was staged. But think about it. The guy just jumped off a plane from Japan. That boy be jet lagged to the days. If he was well rested I am sure he would have wrecked sauce.
I would love an R rated Wolverine. It's always been really jarring for me how they show hardly any blood or gore in those movies, I don't enjoy gore for its own sake but when the main character has blades on his hands you kind of need some to suspend disbelief.
maybe the fight was staged maybe it wasn't. could be that fiasco is better or that the other guy (sorry I'm bad with names) wasn't fully taking it seriously and got caught out. or sometimes people just lose stuff. doesn't mean you're worse than someone overall. just that particular moment
