Google translate confirms it is pronounced "Fort-za"
I believe it's Italian for "force" so it makes sense that it has a harder Z like in Pizza, but just saying "Forza" is a lot easier IMO.
EDIT: And it turns out they had that exact discussion right at the start, lol.
It annoys me to no end when people mispronounce Italian, considering every irregularity in the language is present in borrowed words and brand names like Pizza, Lasagna, and Gucci. So why anyone would ignore the G (Y sound when next to an N) in Gnocchi is just beyond me.
That being said, it really doesn't make sense the the Z in Piza is a soft Z, while it's a hard Z in Forza. Maybe a spelling change over time?
Forza Horizon 3 on PC does support a racing wheel... I am using a Logitech G29, and it has also worked on Forza Motorsports 6 Apex for the PC.
it doesnt support all the wheels that any self respecting pc racing game supports though. for example the fanatec cswv2 which is THE forza branded official wheel. and it doesnt effing work. it still doesnt work in apex either.
If they had released multiple games on the PC already I would agree with you, but Forza Horizon 3 is their first full release on PC. I wouldn't necessarily call Apex a full PC release, its more like a demo to me and wheel support only came out less than a month ago. Hopefully we'll see more wheel support added through updates for your CSW V2 but for now I understand the small list. Forza Motorsports 7, if it also comes to PC, should and needs to have more wheels supported on release as its more of the "Sim-racer" in the series.
So, for the WoW raid lfr system, basically it's reduced difficulty to the point where getting a few tards in your group doesn't even really matter. When I last played it was "faceroll" difficulty. The tradeoff is the gear drops were lower item level compared to normal difficulty. Essentially, lfr let people experience the raide without needing to be in a dedicated raiding guild, while it let those in dedicated raiding guilds to have bigger challenges with better rewards. I could see a similar system in Destiny 2 working as well. Raid matchmaking would put you in a version of the raid that would be difficult to fail, but if you went in with an actual group(the current only way to do it), it would be much harder but with better rewards.
Doesn't mean that it will happen, but it's not completely out of the question.
Saying we should have remote racing is like saying we should have robots be matadors and have robot bulls pitted against them. I'm against bullfighting, I think it's barbaric, and I think NFL and racing is dangerous too. But that's what makes them entertaining and if you take away the danger there's no point.
I dont know why you are getting hate for this, I think you are on point.
@The_Tw1st It's because I voiced concern for animal lives.
There's no key in F1 cars, the mechanics have mobile starter motors for the grid, or pit lane in a red flag situation, the driver doesn't really do anything to get the car started, except maybe press a button/pull the clutch, you'd be screwed if you found one at the side of the road with no power, you'd get nowhere fast.
For Mercedes, there are over 2000 different settings, not all of them work together though.
Ryan is my new favourite person, he gets F1
im glad to hear that low fps in star citizen regardless of hardware is a pretty normal issue. i thought i was just very unlucky running an r9 fury and not seeing above 25fps.
Ill race with you Ash! :D
For people who have a lot of experience with podcasts, they still interrupt each other a lot lol
reason i didnt get into destiny and raids: do not have friends... but if they copied warframes raid/ clan style people with no friends can still play and even make friends
Exact same, looks like such a fun experience. Hoping for the move to PC
Yeah, personally just not into the game despite my friends being into it, but personally i think anything that encourages actually getting to know people through games is awesome. That's why i love RT and twitch, that's why people loved WOW. That can be the best thing about games.
In order to not crash an F1 car, you have to go really fast. The downforce is what keeps the car planted and gives it traction. If you don't go fast enough, you have no downforce. No downforce means not traction. No traction means that your are hitting a wall.
