Oh. Gus must be on this week.
Everything about VR seems cool, but as someone who is in a wheelchair, it doesn't really feel like it's going to do me any good at all, which is disappointing.
You'd still see the depth better than on a TV. Most people don't have the space to walk around either. Sorry if that sounds insensitive.
Gavin should start coating/spraying his cables with something to deter the cat from chewing on them. Like how cans of compressed air have bittering agents to prevent people from huffing them.
Gus: "He already did that."
Allegedly, Gus, he already did it allegedly.
Fun Fact: Ray Charles wasn't blind, he had the 2nd generation HTC Vive on all the time...
Meg's impersonation of Gavin is the best
with current production methods, computers will reach the maximum ability in a few years. So unless someone creates a much more efficient method of computing, full computers in a glasses form is completely unfeasible
Is it actually possible to solve motion sickness? I feel like that is completely a human body issue, not a software issue. If that is correct, than Meg will constantly get motion sick (unless she gets used to it or if a solution is found through the use of medicine/surgery).
Most motion sickness is caused by losing your sense of location or not being grounded. Which is why people get sick on a boat or in a car where they're not controlling their own motion. They're getting past this somewhat in VR games by having the tip of a virtual nose in the game. This allows your brain to have a reference point for where your eyes are.
Works surprisingly well for a lot of people.
How the fuck are you not impressed with any form of AR/VR. that makes no sense. that technology is insane
i love how they recycled the chairs from the "On the spot" set for this set
Since Ashley mentioned 3D while they were talking about VR, all I want is a VR headset with 3D visuals. SUPER IMMERSIVE!!
