ok so just saying, its the developers who chose the frame rate, there are plenty of games that run solid 60fps on console and still look great (mgs5).

but developers know that 30fps has a basically no impact on sales and that they can have prettier screenshots which they prefer,

from insominiac about racthet and clank.
