I wonder why? I quite enjoyed the patch and its separation of gaming and technical talk from the regular podcast

Wait, I'm confused. I thought they were just going to step away and analyze how The Patch was performing. Not that it was officially ending. I hope it comes back because it's one of my favorites.

It seems to be the official ending of the show called "The Patch" and they've talked about it before where they were going to rebrand it and make a new show that is better for discussing video games. Plus they want a new set. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get it together and have a gaming podcast and maybe we'll see more variety than just 4 regulars and a handful of guests every 10 episodes. I want to hear what Michael and Jack think about games. I'm also curious about Jack's reaction to the Assassin's Creed movie and I'm disappointed they didn't ask him to be on it after the movie came out. That's just me though. Oh well, just gonna have to wait and see what they do with it.

The RT official twitter referred to it as a break, but Ashley used "RIP" in a tweet about it, and they spoke about it in this episode as if the show is gone forever. I'm definitely confused too.

The Rotten Tomatoes thing bugs me so much. Technically it not even an aggregate score like meta critic. Rotten Tomatoes score is based on the percent of reviews that are positive vs negative. If a movie is rated 51/100 it counts the same on Rotten Tomatoes as a score that is 99/100: both are positive.

Why the hell is the Patch randomly ending? What the f***, Rooster Teeth? This is one of your most established and respected releases. Is it really a financial issue?

It's okay, they're most likely just taking a break. They have said so on previous Patches and Post shows. They just want to "re do it" best words for It I could find (English is not my first language). Just relax and wait, It will all be okay. Most likely.

You see, I'm sad the Patch is going away, but I know that it is coming back in some format (probably expanded to movie talk) so I'm not overly devastated

The patch was my favourite of all the RT podcasts. It always felt like everyone knew a lot about the topics discussed and I usually learned a lot by the end of an episode. There were great guests, a good mix of hosts ... I am going to miss it so much, I hope it isn't gone forever.

Huh. The one thing I really hate about the Xbox One is the UI...and it's still there and still shit, so...Xbox One S didn't fix that.

Things I want gone in 2017: Install Screens. The "Hey, your video is ready to play" and you log in to a screen that shows the install progress. It's not ready to play, then, is it?

My suggestion for the reworking of the patch: Maybe 1 more extra hour. Thats all. Just 1. a 2 hours news podcast. I'm not being mean. I would love to know what people here thing about that. Commentators let me know
