If you aren't going to do any floating point computing, you should just get the 1080 ti. The x80 tis are faster and cheaper than their equivalent Titans.

Tell me about it, I just bought a new PC for christmas and I'm just below the requirements showed in the vid. Bummer.

That would be interesting, but it could be problematic with games that have dynamic maps like minecraft, or open world games like gta. I don't think there are that much games that would meet all technical criteria for it to be possible. Also, the editors' job is to provide the best content based on the already set viewpoints of the players, so I believe anything but that would be less valuable content. But who knows.

I think they made good points as to why they're changing it.

Ill be the first to say im not fully knowledgeable about the different hardware limitations and specs of all VR devices, but looking at the requirements posted during this video for oculous, for PURE graphical power, PC seems to be the premier platform for VR.

Now its easy to say PC is the largest install base, but only a FRACTION of PC's can actually run VR and those numbers are almost impossible to estimate compared to all PS4's sold, so i wont go into that statement of PS4 having the largest user base. Still i feel like its too simple to say, alot of people have PS4's so alot of people will have PSVR, i would wager its a fraction of PS4 owners that would become first adopters of PSVR
