Mom’s Banging the Unreal Engine - #187

I'm not sure if I'm in the minority but my PSN downloads at the same same speed as Steam. On both it takes me roughly 1 hour to download 6 GB. I haven't tested on XBL because it mostly collects dust.

Last episode of the patch or last of the year?

In regards to the Best game deserving a sequel, nominating Half-Life 2 Episode 2 wasn't trying to turn it into an "internet joke". It was people who loved the franchise wishing for another instalment.

There was no requirement for the nominees to have a sequel slated for production and I don't think anyone thought that just because you voted for it, it will get made.

My PS4 downloads things just fine...

Growing up I knew my mom always hid presents in a certain part of her closet. I regret it. It would've been awesome to get the three 2008 Bionicle vehicles and giant Takanuva if I hadn't known ahead of time.

As far as I understand it, Cry Engine is far superior for SLI support and Unreal Engine 4 has either garbo or non-existent SLI support. That said, I know very little about most differences between them.

From the sounds of it, the PS4 download speeds in the US are slower than here in Australia! What topsy turvy nonsense is this?

Download speeds on the Xbox one SEEMS faster, but not the 40 to 80% they said. Maybe it's my internet, I'm not actually sure what speed I have. Sad that the Patch is going away for however long they want to retool it, but I guess I get why they're doing it.

Wait, Mica now works in The Know office and not with AH anymore?

It always takes me even up to 3 days to download a game on Xbox One. PS4? Maybe a few hours.

Also, Gus, it's colder where I live. It's colder and the internet is slower so what you said doesn't matter.

I think the mei skin is fine but ill agree it really doesn't seem like a legendary skin. Maybe if they added her floating drone to work as a floating santa hat above her head or something then I could see the skin being legendary.  As for the tracer thing I really don't see what the big deal is. Her being a lesbian really doesn't affect anything with the game. If the sexuality of a character was part of a games campaign or somehow changed the play style I would get it. But I highly doubt anyone is going to suddenly become better or worse as Tracer now that they know she's a lesbian. I'm not trying to get anyone heated up I just don't understand what this reveal really adds to the game or all the hullabaloo around it. It really doesn't seem like a big deal .
