in regards to oculus, it isnt a standing experience YET. once the touch controllers come out, they also come with a second sensor. granted you cant mount them to your walls with the included hardware, but they function as well as the lighthouses that come with vive. i bought a security camera mounting bracket that my sensor was able to work with and mounted it high up for a better viewing angle. once i get the touch controllers, ill do the same again with that and it will essentially be the same thing as vive, just better support.
for a "here, try this" oculus game, i would sit somebody in a cockpit game, like elite or eve valkyrie.
I'm surprised no one at RT has talked about Gears of War 4 at great length since it came out. They've talked alot about the special edition console and the other games in the series, but not about this particular game.
Yeah I honestly only saw one trailer on the TV for Titanfall 2 and that was the day after the game released. I honestly kept thinking Titanfall 2 was coming out next year till I saw the trailer. Which was far different than with titanfall 1. I knew the date of that game and was excited for its release.
"Android is killing..." Yeah, thats kinda one of the problems with the latest phones....
I have to agree with the statement of the ps3 controller feeling cheap. I don't know how but I kept getting my fingers caught in the gap beneath the shoulder buttons when I would shift from the lower L2 or R2 to the L1 or R1. Little buggers pinched hard.
Anyone else think the post show for The Patch should be called something like the Hotfix?
"Ryan, could you please leave (so Burnie and Ashley can resolve their issues on live television)?"
I used to use Bryce3D to make abstract wallpapers. They weren't.... the best. lol.
fake glasses are not part of your look Burnie. We love ya the way you are
Love seeing Burnie on The Patch.
I use Pinnacle Game Profiler to give controller support for my XBOX 360 controller to games that would or don't have controller support in the game. The software works great for me. Not to mention a lifesaver when games have shitting controller support to begin with.
I have played was Burnie was talking about with the arrows with beanbags on the ends. It is really fun. But make sure you watch the drawstring on the bow that is doesn't hurt the inside of your forearm when you let the arrow loose. Played with styrofoam and beanbag. I have found the styrofoam tip are more common where I am. Also the visor on the helmet also fogs up a lot too.
I turn autoplay off on steam. If I want to watch a trailer I will go back to it. But when I'm on a steam pageI look at the rating, then the description of the game, then the requirement to run the game, then reviews then go to the screenshots and then trailers if I want to see if this game would intrigue me.
If Lionhead studios was still a thing... They should re-release Black & White as a VR title. It would bring us that one step closer to what Molyneux promised everyone. You WOULD be god, people WOULD love (hate) YOU... AND (!) you WOULD have an adorable pet that... you can pet... I guess.
It seems like this kind of a strategy game would be a perfect VR title and well... In B&W you already were a hand anyway.
