Considering the amount of issues that Go has running as it is, if they implemented the literal hundreds of potential moves, abilities, and stats (both visible and hidden), the game would probably slow to a standstill. Also, one of the most frustrating things in pokemon is accidentally killing stuff you're trying to catch, something which would be intolerable if you'd physically trecked somewhere to find a particular pokemon. Lastly, it takes a lot of back knowledge in order to play pokemon 'fluently'--like, how much damage does this move do, what effects does it have, what typing does each pokemon have and what moves are most effective against that type (since not all weaknessess/strengths are intuitive, i.e. flying vs fighting or psychic vs bug). I think the reason Go is so popular is specifically because it doesn't play like a regular pokemon game, which makes it accessible to literally anyone who decides to pick it up. As fun as an 'actual' ar pokemon game would be, it just wouldn't have the same reach or broad appeal as what they have now.
