Shared Video Game Universe Theories w/ MatPat!

They set up the repeating timeline in Wind Waker

Each Legend of Zelda game (barring sequels like Majora's Mask and Link's Awakening) have a different Link and a different Zelda. Demise placed a curse on them in Skyward Sword, on the blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero, basically making it so those three, Zelda, Link, and Demise, would always come back. To my knowledge, Demise has only been reincarnated once as Ganondorf, his first reincarnation, has never died... for long.

But still, each game, barring sequels, has a different Zelda and a different Link. So, unless this game is set up as a sequel to a previous one, this new game has a new Zelda and a new Link. Also, Zelda and Link have never really "gotten together", with the possible exeption of Skyward Sword where they seemed to be more than just friends (and also actually knew each other before the beginning of the game)

just to point out The Know posted a story a few months ago about an EA investor conference where mass effect was pushed from q4 of 2016 to Q1 of 2017

So the end there kind of got me mad. As you can see by my picture I am a huge Kingdom Hearts fan, and they just kept saying over and over again about how convoluted and lost in itself the story is, and while I agree that the there is a lot to the story and it is broken up into multiple parts, if you have played even just the core games you can understand everything. And thats another thing right now the only handheld that has nessesary story information on it id Birth By Sleep all the others can be skipped and you are only missing background info. But they are allowed to have their opinions I just wish someone could explain to me what is exactly so confusing about it.
