Not sure if I'm gonna play anything this weekend. Maybe a bit of Destiny 2 if I can get a raid group together with my friends and have them teach me the proper mechanics to the most recent raid lair. I've only ever been taught through a trial by fire, which was kinda fun, but I want to know how it works now. After moving everything around in my room so my streaming station is in a better place to be cooled down, I will finally hook everything up again and figure out what to do. Haven't gotten around to moving it all for a month because of other responsibilities, as well as laziness, so it feels good to have all my stuff rewired and organized.
On the topic of the video, an EA PUBG clone? Eh, kinda over the game mode already. It's like horde mode, fun maybe once or twice, but it gets old fast. Not saying TDM isn't stale, but at least that's a constant test of skill that you can (somewhat) consistently replicate every time, assuming you're in the correct skill range. Battle Royale is annoying only for the fact that it's 10-20 mins of scrambling, and 1 min of combat, and if you're lucky, another 5 mins of waiting and praying. The adrenaline gets going when you're top 10, sure. But I haven't won a match yet so it's sorta lame. For me, it doesn't matter if it's EA or another company, I probably won't play it.
Not really into MMOs so I don't particularly care for a League of Legends entry in the genre.
Never played Ni No Kuni so, good for anyone that bought the game? Can't get into RPGs, let alone JRPGs. I think I only got into Pokemon because I could understand it.
EA taking away the On the House program is a bit sad, but I'm not sure how many games they could reasonably give away before they either repeat titles or dip into the newer games in their catalog. I would assume that it's gonna be gone for a few months and pop back up in Nov/Dec, only so they can get in the good graces of the holiday shoppers. Beyond that, I don't see them doing it again.
Wasn't even aware of what On Rush was until now. I might have seen something about it before and it seems like a game that would scratch the Burnout itch, but I just got Burnout Paradise Remastered and only played like 20 mins of it. I remember playing it before and all the grinding I had to do for the collectibles and decided I would pick it up again another time.
Nintendo Labo looks interesting as a concept, but I don't know if it'd be as robust as I would like, nor as intuitive in creating a minigame as other tools. I'm still trying to figure out Unity. I have amazing patience, but it's just a chore to find a good tutorial as well as assets I can use. I'm also looking to create my own models so I don't have to deal with royalties and whatnot, but it's a lot of info to take in so it's a slow process (on top of doing my daily routines).
A new Charlie's Angels, huh? I'll have to check it out. The others were decent. Not particularly great, but for the time they were good enough.
Netflix's new show is about zombies.....yay.....huzzah.... (I've been burned out on them since they were being thrown into everything 10-15 years ago).
I kinda want to see this Ryan Renolds movie now. I'm sure it'll be hilarious.
Fox being taken in by Disney will be good for a lot of the Marvel stuff. It'd be funny if they took all those and spun the company off again. Not saying it's likely, just that it'd be funny.
Facebook stock is meh. I get that it's a way to track how successful a company is doing relative to itself, but that's about it. I know I should care, it's just hard to understand.
Apologies for the long post. I wanted to say a bit about everything. Although maybe half of it isn't that useful for conversation.
