Official HALO for PC? + Another Country Outlaws Loot Boxes

They didn't tease an upcoming PC Halo release at all though. They answered the same way they have been for years to fans' requests for PC Halo: We are aware there is some demand and will consider it, but never actually release it.

This is blatantly false. The mod ElDewrito does NOT use MS's code, and IS NOT shut down / being shutdown at all. For one, it can't be in the first place, because nothing is hosted centrally and the actual mod (ElDewrito) is open source and breaks no rules or laws. The issue is with the dev team previously redistributing the Russian Halo Online files (referred to as ms23 in the old download links) which MS has the right to take down links to. The mod isn't going anywhere, and incorrect reporting like this only hurts it's growth. Very disappointing coming from such huge Halo fans like RT

I think it's great that some people can choose the subscription version of new games and all, but I dread the day when most of the new releases become subscription-only, with no permanent-purchase option available. I'm certain that's where this is all headed. That, and consoles without local storage or disk-reading drives that only stream.

WHAT Microsoft is NOT shutting down el dewrito. They just cant update it anymore. THAT'S IT. Saying its cancelled will only lead people away from the living game.
