No she used offshore accounts, as do most celebrities, because if they used local accounts (in the UK anyway) their banks would have to publicly post their finances somewhere, making their already public life even more public. Totally not illegal, plenty of people do it, just happens that its also a super easy way to do evil stuff, just like Bitcoin, or whatever. Or yeah, she is a lizard person or whatever.
