I feel like recently France has been over taking the US in stupid laws that make no sense at all. Also this case will probably get thrown out or defeated but maybe not.
Donald Trump was in Scotland a few years ago. Fighting against wind farms. Because of his golf clubs. The people of Scotland largely told him to fuck right off, but this man could be the next president of the United States, and I feel like that says a lot for how messed up the whole system is - There shouldn't be an argument against green energy, there IS no argument against green energy, but still people created one, and for a country they don't even live in
I still dont understand on why people dont believe in global warming. The consensus from climate scientist agree that it is a problem.
Some people believe that science and scientists are all wrong and anything they say is false. That isn't a joke in any way some people truly belive that.
The problem is, is your government is paid by the corporations that own the things that destroy the environment. You can't win unless you seriously make a change in government and get rid of all these greedy, evil people from positions of power. But thats almost impossible, because they own the government.
I'm not sure why you go the neg mods that you did. I agree with you. As long as the American government is more interested in the welfare of the big corporations profiting off of products that lead to climate change, how can we expect any positive change?
Crazy how easy it is to find mounds of credible information to justify your cause and prove how right you are over people that feel opposed to you, that goes for either side of any hot button debate by the way. And just because someone disagrees with you does not mean that they are stupider than you, actually heard that for the first time from bruce over at Funhaus.
excuse me but the obama administration heavily did things to prevent climate control. The Republicans denied the claims and prevented most prevention measures
You can put the blame on the Obama administration all day, but at the end of it pointing fingers isn't going to fix the problem. Climate change has been happening globally since the industrial era, and we've known this since at least the 1970s. You know all the culprits already got away with it, so what's the point?
Man, Kids vs. Government is my favourite game ever :D
I will probably get a lot of hate for this but the true evidence shows that WE have not impacted our climate enough to cause a change on earth but rather the earth itself changes to accommodate climate change. This has been happening for THOUSANDS of years way before the industrial era. And guess what the earth knows how to fix itself we would just hinder it if WE got involved. Let the Flambait begin!! HAHA
While this is TECHNICALLY true, and it is. That's only because of a lack of long-term data samples. We do know that WE have contributed to more carbon emissions than have ever existed on this planet by at least 10x. So, we know we are ruining the air. We also know that all the carbon emissions do separate the chemical bonds of ozone. And we know that ozone keeps heat out of the atmosphere. (aka keeps us from having global warming all the time.) We know that our ozone layer is thinner than it has ever been and we have tracked record highs around the world every year for the last ten years or more.
Even if you want to deny the facts of global warming, there is definitely evidence that humans have ruined the environment. We have driven dozens of animal species extinct and there are places in the world that barely have breathable air (looking mostly at china). So, even if you want to deny the cataclysmic end that scientists calculate with rising sea levels and global freeze and whatever else, you cannot deny that we've ruined the planet and should probably be taking better care of it.
I support the prevention of climate change, but this is stupid. Kids these days now bitch about everything. Instead of bitching and wasting time sueing the Obama adminstration, even tho Obama has said that climate change is an actual thing (blame republicans and the house and senate), why don't they help somewhere else. Like I get it, but really, what would you expect? Not to mention that its not the US polluting the planet. What about the other nations? Stupid. Kids are just stupid.
I support dealing with climate change. However Leo can pound sand. He felt a Chinook in Alberta and claims to have experienced climate change first hand because of it. Which makes him an idiot.
