I believe it. Palmer is being sued by multiple companies for breaking NDAs and for stealing technology from companies he has worked with. Hes also a complete dick who thinks hes better than god, just read some of his reddit posts.

You need to have guts to go up against one of the biggest names in technology. The only reason they could be bluffing is that they waited so long, but probably so Oculus makes bank and they can sue for a bigger chunk. So treachery all around. Good ol' politics.

This is one of the more stupid comments Ive ever heard. This isn't about you or the consumers in general. This is a corporate battle over the revenue of a massive technological invention. If what ZM says is true then they could gain at least some rights to the oculus rift and by extension the sales for that product. That is a massive amount of money considering Facebook bought it for 2 billion dollars! So when you say it doesn't really matter who is right, you are showing how shortsighted and selfish of a consumer you are. Its not a matter of you having "to pay for the product anyway" so who cares, its the issue of which company has claim to that money.

Here's some news, all consumers are selfish. If that whole billion lawsuit is gonna change something for me, the consumer i would indeed care. I can't say i care about the lawsuit between two companies that have a revenue beyond imagination, cause i actually don't give a fuck.
