It'll be interesting to find out what happens. I can imagine toxic communities thriving off of this. I really do hope that Youtube allows creators to have more control over who can enter the chat rooms or whatever it is that the creators and fans will talk to one another.
Thank you Gus for saying GIFs not JIFs.
I think I watch the majority of my video watching here on Rooster Teeth and the other sites associated with it. Like Achievement Hunter and The Know for example.
I miss the days when sites and devices did what they were designed for. I want my game consoles to play games, my phone to call and text, Yahoo to let me get my email, and Youtube to play videos. I don't want my game consoles having a bad Siri knockoff, my phone to have 7 screens to get through before I can call, and Yahoo constantly having popups and pestering me with news in my inbox and now Youtube with social crap.
I'm glad I don't have a YouTube account. I don't get what the point of this is, but what ever.
It's about time there were some more serious video networks but facepalm is really not one that's going to make things any better - to be honest they'll only make things worse than youtube... just look at all the ad revenue they take away from youtube videos when showing them on facepalm without showing the ads and therefore reducing ad revenue.... :( dirty tricks is their standard game over there *sigh*
