The video doesn't actually start until 30 seconds in... it's just black until then. I thought the player was broken
Yo @gus, I started a Horizon NG+ at level 48 and got past the Proving and into the open world in about 2 hours. It's not that hard. With the Frozen Wilds electric gun thing and at level 60, I'm sure it's even easier, especially with the Shield Weaver outfit.
Mika, new game+ was on Chrono Trigger in 1995. Dunno if the concept predates that at all, but it was still far before Kingdom Hearts. I like to imagine any dev team that doesn't have new game+ is just collectively rubbing their hands together evilly, muttering "fuck you, start from scratch." I'm well aware there are probably more benevolent reasons, but this amuses me more.
I have to say we were able to hear the screams so the mics are picking em up lol.
Double check when a TV says it has HDR. Some have “Active HDR” or “HDR Pro”, but it’s not real HDR. LG and Sony are pretty guilty of some questionable advertising of this.
I just started at Best Buy last month, there are definitely good deals on 4K TVs with real HDR, especially closer to the Super Bowl.
In other news, r/HailCorporate...
I kinda want to get a Switch just for Mario Tennis. The GBC game was my jam and I was great at it. Didn't play the GBA version tho. If it's anything like the old games, I'll feel right at home
even though there is bunch of great games on it as well. breath of the wild. odyssey. splatoon 2, arms, etc
That is true, but I haven't had much of an interest in Mario for a long time. I'd have to try Splatoon 2 and Arms before I could see what the hype is about. Zelda hasn't been my go to for the most part, ever. I've only completed 2 of them in the past, one of them being the GB title Link's Awakening (I was on a camping trip so there wasn't much else) and the other is Wind Waker. I hear Mario Kart is supposed to be good too, but I'm not interested in any of the games that are currently out. Several titles coming up might be worth my time (specifically for me, I recognize they're good either way). I wouldn't mind Pokemon and I would love SSB5. Beyond that, Nintendo just doesn't grab my attention. Mario Tennis for GBC was the only game that I wanted to be good at.
Mica was asking about cheap VR headsets and also about Holo Lens: Windows Mixed Reality headsets are kinda derived from that experiment and they cost from 400$ to 500$. They are similar to Vive and Rift but they don't use external sensors/cameras for tracking so it's more easy to use but they don't have the same range of motion. They have controllers which are kinda blend of touch and vive controllers, so they can play games from both platforms. You can play SteamVR games like Fallout 4. The preferred 500$ version has the same resolution as the new Vive Pro so it needs a beefier computer.
I'm just wondering why no one at The Know is talking about SNK Heroines ;-;
a hat in times camera isn't bad at all. idk what adam is talking about. also taking a break from a game just because of camera is weird.
