the weighted blanket reminded me of my chain blanket i got. it depends on what type of sleeping problem you have, if you move a lot during the night your sleep will be worse as you aren't 100% in a sleep state, so the blanket can help with that issue by weightening you down to not move as much. it also helps people with autism (my self) where i'm mostly nervous when i sleep, the blanket keeps me sort of calm and more safe making it easier to sleep.
if it's a chained blanket and not just weights it will also help with hard knots or unmassaged areas, results may vary depending on sleep positions. i got less headaches after awhile by having it around my neck area while sleeping.
