I started the Yakuza series with Yakuza Zero. I recommend starting there, as it is first in chronological order of the series. Yakuza does have a semi-complicated release & remake/remaster structure. I recommend researching the series timeline for those who want a "dedicated" Yakuza experience, spaning across 3 generations of Playstation consoles.
