@fakenerdscout Adam is perfect, Ben on the other hand? Well, he could do with the 'How to' guide on 'How to: not be a big dull dud'. Am I right or am I right or am i right?
@LawrenceJBird Hey man, thanks for watching the show. Glad you are enjoying Glitch Please. (BTW, “Boring Convention 2018" got moved to next weekend, but I’ll be at booth 128 if you want something signed)
Quantum Conundrum is awesome, I saw some one playing it on youtube and immediately got it. Best 6-10 hours of my life. Plus talking about that discovery factor, after a while you start thinking of how to end the level in a way that was not intended by the developers. Plus if you watch a speed run of the game you see the full extend of the physics of the game.
@avroo7 After Adam talked about it, I made some time to play through it this weekend. I love Portal and Portal 2, so I'm hoping it holds up after 6 years.
I'd love to see the pitch segment happen again with a different cast, or even whenever there's someone new on the show.
Absolutely sold on Amazing Frog? but Quantum Conundrum sounds like the two absolute worst sections of Dragon Age Origins in The Fade and Amgarrak. Sorry Adam.
In the least rude way possible this kind of thing (the guest line up) is what killed the Patch the first time around. I'm sure they're perfectly nice people, but I don't find half the cast entertaining, Chad and Adam are fun but I didn't enjoy the other 2, and I don't want to insult them but simultaneously I'm likely to avoid the show if they're on again. Sorry :S
@Born2lose So, I normally tell people to avoid credit cards. However, American Express has this really nifty feature called Plan It. It lets you take one purchase over a certain $ amount and create a payment plan for it interest free. They charge a small fee (dependent on original purchase amount) and then you just pay it off in whatever time frame you chose. It's pretty much an interest free loan with a small initial fee.
I think the original idea behind it was for people to create plans to sort out their credit cards that have multiple purchases, but if that is the only thing you have charged to the card, then the only payment due on it each month is the Plan It amount.
I used it for a Christmas gift for my brother this last year and it worked well. You can even pay it off early without incurring a fee. Might be something to look into.
