"part-time employee Gus Sorola"
hehe
big Brandon Sanderson fan as well and the footage looks amazing for the Way of Kings experience
I think Adam is accurate, I think it happened the day after they recorded this but Skyrim VR came out for preorder the other day and is already on the top selling list on steam. Also just make more games VR capable and it will also move units.
My big reason I havent bought into VR is the cost of it all. I dont have a PC, I use a decent laptop for gaming and such so id have to invest in on a PC, a VR headset, and then the software. I could get a PSVR headset and get rid of the PC costs, but even then it isnt enticing enough to me over more games on Switch/PS4 or even getting an Xbone for Sea of Thieves or some other Microsoft titles. I know I want VR to succeed and make headway with great games and to make breakthroughs with hardware technology, but I am not in a position where buying into the VR industry is viable. I hope it isnt just a fad, but like Adam said i can see it being a kind of limbo for a few years until it picks up again.
Great insight regarding VR. Personally, I just upgraded from a launch PS4 to a Pro to eventually invest in PSVR.
a heart for the sanderson call out.
Gus should talk to that one guy at Rooster Teeth. I heard he made one phone and got The RT Podcast on Spotify in minutes. Maybe he could help with his part-time status.
crypto currency has killed VR support as the high end graphics cards needed for VR are either sold out everywhere or have a 50% markup on price
Thumbs up to your trunk club clothes Adam!
everyone thinks vr headsets should be under $200 (not sure why. i dont regret spending 800 for rift+touch). so of course no ones buying them.
