Hey this isn't in regards to the this episode of glitch please however it is an interesting bit about an 18 year old student coming back from basic training getting arrested and possibly expelled from his high school for playing the "The Walking Dead: Our World". He recorded himself playing without the fake background feature on and thus had other students in the video along with the zombies in the game that he was shooting at. When he posted it to facebook he also added "Finally something better than Pokemon Go". EA telling the people who don't want woman in games to piss off was a great thing, not a mistake. These people can say it's about historical accuracy all they want, and for a very very few of them it may even be true, but for the majority there just misogynistic and racist assholes and they should be told to piss off. If the game they wanted to make was meant to be 100% accurate to the time it's fine, that is there choice, but inclusiveness is always a good thing and if EA and Dice want to push inclusiveness is a good thing.

For Battlefront II the first DLC seemed promising, but it was a fairly small one and there's hardly been any content released since.

The Amazon pre-order bonus is changing from $12-ish to a flat $10, but it's also on select games (or so it seems). Doesn't look like it'll be a big deal, but I feel like it's gonna backfire cause you can't use it for *every* game. Getting rid of the ad free perk is a deal breaker for me. I'm unlinking amazon and cutting prime since that's what I pay for. Not getting that will effectively make it worthless.

@OniZonda I think the ad-free perk removal still leaves way more in Prime than would justify ending it. You get the equivalent of Netflix and Spotify Premium via Amazon Music and Prime Video. Not to mention the free shipping is a huge deal. To get 2-day shipping from any other site would be anywhere from 10-20 dollars, heck even 3-5 days is $10 on some sites. The free games and the free Twitch sub alone justify the price. Disclaimer I'm a student so I get Amazon half off. Anyone with a student email can. At full price Amazon's video content alone at least matches if not exceeds Netflix value every month. I bet you didn't know you get a free book every month did you? Or access to hours and hours of Prime Exclusive Audible audiobooks and shows/podcasts.

@OniZonda Idk if you were around during Prime month, but we got over $80 (I looked up the current prices on Steam) of free games via Twitch Prime. *drops the mic* lol

@DontMaskTruth I forgot, the Partner is still allowed to disable ads for subs and I've never seen one streamer that doesn't turn off sub ads. I don't know about you but only about 10% of my Twitch time goes to streamers I don't sub to.

@DontMaskTruth value of games vs quality of said games is a whole separate argument that could be made. I was around and got none of those games because I didn't like any of them or had them already. No point in getting stuff that I have absolutely no interest in playing. Your mic drop moment has been nullified. Also, I don't order many things so yea, I don't have a need for 2 day shipping. I get the discount as well so I'm not too concerned with giving it a month or so before they get their shit together and include the ad free perk again, but out of all the stuff it offers, I only use the ad free perk on a regular basis. Out of the last 5 months of paying for it, I've only used a sub once and all my orders were done during the first 2 weeks I paid for it. Audio books and prime videos aren't a selling point for me. I don't watch enough of their content to justify keeping it. The value of prime is not seeing ads for me. I understand that it has many benefits, but I don't use them. Why continue paying for something I'm not gonna use? Should I pay for it simply for the convenience of having access to what I'm not going to use? It doesn't make any sense. If I really want 2 day shipping, I'll pay for prime again. However there are only about 2 months out of the year I want it.

It makes me so happy to hear Brian talk about FF11. I know it was pretty popular in its time, but I was the only person I knew who played it and I've never met anyone who used to play it. I miss you Lakshmi server!

Idk about him talking about Pokemon GO that's totally fine... but John's trying to be cute voice needs to go. I usually don't post stuff like that but I think it needs to be said - especially cuz he has good stuff to say when he's not sounding like a 6 year old!
