Just pointing out, Anthony and LeVar on the same episode at E3 were probably the first non-RT guests (though if those three days kinda blurred together, I don't really blame you)
I was at the Full Sail event with Gus, it was a great pleasure meeting him and the guys. Really looking forward to this partnership!
Loved the discussion at the end about differences in prices. typically for a new release game, both digital and some places like EB games (GameStop to other countries) will set the prices at AUD$100 (dollarydoos) and then some retailers undercut at $80 and $65 but do that generally at more of a loss. When most physical options are significantly cheaper and don’t press the data cap it’s a hard sell for digital here unfortunately.
To Stephanie (and anyone else with a demon chicken following them around): go back to the area where all the chickens died, and use your 'See Ghosts' power.
Wink wink.
Australian Internet is somewhat divided right now between those who have the NBN (The fibre network that is currently rolling out), those who don't have it. Many areas around Australia (like Stephanie's suburb outside Sydney) still are not connected to the NBN, which means people there need to still rely on other connections such as cable.
In the areas that does have the NBN fibre network (I'm lucky enough to be in one) the difference is enormous. Over the past few years I've gone from an ADSL connection (4 down, <1 up) to a cable connection (30 down, 4 up) to a fibre HFC connection (80 down, 30 up).
Another issue is that even if you are connected to the fibre network, there is a false speed cap put on depending on which price point you chose. There are four speed tiers available between 12Mbps to 100Mbps that vary only because of price. Each tier being around $AU15 (differs per ISP) more expensive than the previous tier.
<edit> a word.
I found that the armour/weapon smiths in witcher 3 usually had enough money to buy all my crap after clearing pints of interest, especially after repairing/upgrading my gear.
Seeing the Australia avarege speeds, I'm so lucking I could get fibre optic to my house. I live in queensland and get 50-75mbs down and around 25mbs up, when I'm within a good distance from my modem. If a go a couple rooms across it drops exponentially, which means my bedroom has an avg. down speed of 15-25mbs.
I cant wait to be at a point in my life where 100hrs in a game is " A LOT" being able to have 1 game every couple months, I usually end up sinking 200hrs into a game at minimum
The reason most casinos are 21 to enter is because they serve alcohol on the floor. As Ben said, it depends on the state but it's actually 18 for the most part. Scratchers and the lotto are generally 18+
Hex is awesome, please offer her a job!
