Lmao that thumbnail, ya'll building a portfolio for the National Enquirer? Also, what would currently stop sony from listening to people's mic activity? Any time a mic is connected to the system it is listening for voice command input. SONY IS ALREADY INSIDE THE HOUSE GUYS!!!! CALL THE POLICE!!!!

They do realize, that most likely a good percentage of the features they're trash-talking will have the option to be disabled. But I guess a bunch of Xbox fanboys would be negative towards anything PlayStation. Especially the fact that PlayStation used black and white, the same colours your head is, Black hair, and white skin.

@CozyCanuck yo first of what the fuq is your last line? and to the rest of your comment: they really aren't Xbox fanboys and bash them all the same. they bash pretty much everything. In fact, they critize Xbox for exactly that same thing (listening to their customers) in this video

That colour scheme is awful. Also interesting that they kept the touchpad. Did some people actually use that for something on the PS4? The haptic feedback line is also great, as I never really realized any different between haptic feedback and old-school rumble

@Hammlet I remember a few games used the touchpad as a fully integrated feature back in the early days Infamous Second Son comes to mind, however now I merely use it as another set of keybinds for the very few games that allow key mapping... Elite Dangerous would be the example I particularly use it for.

2 reveals I'm waiting for: that the controller's "look" is very modular with easy-change back & front plates (I legitimately can't think of any other reason for all the weird exposed spacious seams - all around the touch pad, on the inner edge of the handles, and at the top at least), and that there will be black and white versions of the console available at launch. I just haven't been able to figure out any other reasons they made some of the design choices otherwise - like the beefiness of the handles and all those giant seams that just look to me like they're going to be absolute dust/crumb/gunk magnets. The mic thing is a big meh, but otherwise I'm super into the rest of the design, color-scheme included.
