I was six minutes into the video wondering "Why the hell are all these cars in such high quality" (thinking it was some sort of switch gameplay capture), finally realized it was about the drift.

Gonna be honest, with all the talk about drifting I was hoping for some Eurobeat/drift racing jokes. Maybe next time. Edit: okay I guess the clip at the end counts good job.

Frankly five million is a small price given what the UK trading standards agency would do if this actually got in front of them (it might happen eventually but it normally takes years for anything computer related to be addressed by them :( - for reference they would probably stop Nintendo from selling Joy-Cons in the UK... so, Nintendo would have to fix the problem before it could sell any more Switches... i.e. shit would really hit the fan... HOWEVER, having said all of this Nintendo, like all Japanese companies that sell abroad, does graded quality control and sells the best graded products to Japanese customers, and worse stuff to everyone else (given the comments I've seen it sounds like China will probably getting the worst but maybe Nintendo is dealing with it's drift problem by giving countries whose consumer protection laws and consumers are the strongest / pickiest the better QC'd controllers and dumping the rest on the USA and other countries where it is hard for Joe Bloggs to do anything about it (e.g. China where owning a switch may or may not be illegal - depending on who's in charge and how much you bribe any officials involved in your purchase! Gotta grease those wheels... :(

I got drift on two sets of joycons. woohoo... left one seems to go out faster than the right one, very annoying when playing anything that requires the slightest amount of precicion.

I have had such an issue with Joycon Drift, I have wen't through 6 Joycon sticks. its caused me to stop playing switch
