@o0didly0o Same here. Pre-ordered from the Microsoft store. It was a little slow but it did go through.

Got mine through Amazon after about a 1000 refreshes and those damn "Sorry, we couldn't find that page" pictures of dogs.

@JiTMo Same. I checked 3 different websites for like an hour. I finally ordered one at 11:55 EST (almost an hour later) and I went to look at the purchase page and the page wouldn't load, just dogs. My preorder did go through though so that's a relief

I feel like the ps5 pre-orders went a little better due to them not starting at a set time. It was a scramble for some but after the showcase they did, the news broke that they would be coming. I kept my eyes peeled and was able to easily secure one within 5 mins of it going live. People that were not as aware of it had the chance throughout the day as each different store opened up orders at different times instead of a mad rush at one specific time. Both consoles pre-orders were still far better than the RTX 3080 launch at least.

Microsoft Japan just straight up pulled a goddamn Sony and never announced the release time, only the date (Sept 25). Since they never announced a time, but every other places on goddamn Earth was either at 8am local time or soon after, so I figured Japan must be doing that too. Fucking NOPE, they just started the preorders at midnight, so I woke up for work to find it was all sold out. Not going to like, it pissed me the fuck off.
