This makes a lot of sense, while I liked the Eternal Soundtrack, some of the songs seemed to be off. I find it upsetting that Mick Gordon was not able to have as much freedom in this game as opposed to Doom 2016.
As someone who bought the Collector's Edition and finally got to download the full OST, I am disappointed in the mix on most of the songs. For me, I can easily pick out the songs Mick mixed (they sound just as good as in game). The others just sound off, like everything just kinda bleeds together and sounds like a jumbled mess. You don't have to have $100,000 speakers to tell the difference either. If you listen to the same track in-game vs on the OST, you can easily hear the difference. How would you like working on a project, putting in all that effort to have someone else screw up your work. It would piss me off too. Just my opinion.
you guys should do a inside gaming of the increase of the amount players from covid and what effects it has done. Ranging to people being more active in gaming and those finding a new outlet with it. The player increase alone on MMO's to just single player games probably increased by 2 to 5 times the normal amount.
