Anthem Even More Dead After Bioware Abandons Updates

oh shit, takes me back to the Anthem news we used to get daily xD

It’s actually being added to the EA Access suite of games that are included with membership, so I assume that’s an effort to attempt to boost engagement

they should have released dragon age first then started on anthem for a great reveal, the hype would have had a good backing coming from a release of a game people were expecting.

What made more money last year? EA or the most profitable college athletics department?

Games as a service doesnt make sense when you dont have a team that will support the game past six months. I mean what are they gonna do, delay dragon age or hire more people.

I wonder if instead of trying (for once) to do the right thing. EA just doesn't want the legacy of being the company that destroyed (or at least helped destory) Bioware. Bad PR and all that. But who knows, people and things can always change.

TBH, as a person with thousands of hours in co-op looter shooters I forgot Anthem existed

Man I really wish this game succeeded. It was a great idea and the flying was really fun, but that’s about all it did well.

I'm glad you guys are keeping up with the Anthem news. I love hearing how terrible it's doing.
