@Rothkoh Lawrence's argument was that the dev thinks it is ok to make a game about killing because he got death threats, not vice versa

I continue to look forward to inside gaming every day. Coming from someone who never watched the series before it was on rooster teeth, it’s becoming one of the best parts of my evening routine.

This game is obviously fucked up and anyone who enjoys it clearly has problems. But why do people get so up in arms about something like this existing? You aren't preventing rape by censoring it, getting worked up about something being published seems so pointless. Not to mention how slippery a slope censorship is.

@AbstractSpaces like they said in the vid, valve is private, they can put whatever they want on their site for any reason ans it wont be censorship, its just business. if valve was a grocery store and a bread company wanted to put titties on the bags, the store could stop selling that bread. it wouldnt be censorship just smart business. same for valve with these garbage games that claim to be "art".

@dengar96 I'm not questioning valve's decision, I know they can do whatever they want with it. I'm more referring to all the people who get outraged when something is released that makes them uncomfortable.

@AbstractSpaces You realize that you can project mental issues on anyone who enjoys just about *any* kind of game, right? People have been doing it since Mortal Kombat came out, and the fact is they were just as wrong then as you are now. Is the content potential disturbing, graphic & more than a little violent? Absolutely, but it's a *fantasy*. Plenty of people have a kink for that sorta shit, and you'd be *astonished* how many of them are women.

@Emiscary I suppose that illustrates my point. Someone sees something that makes them uncomfortable and wants to shut it down. But someone else might find real value in it in a way the first person would never have imagined. Censoring it only takes that potential value away without accomplishing anything useful in return.

I dont really know what others think of this situation. I really respect steam for trying to keeps its hands off and letting people decide what they want. Even with this I still think steam is doing the right thing.

Hunipop is still the only game on my steam list I got every achievement on. I just love it but then there are those people that take it to far with trying to get noticed or whatever

Just play House Party. Using the console commands, you can make into your own porn simulator. I teleported every girl into the master bedroom, removed all their clothes, made them super horny, and madly in love with me. Then made them all masturbate in front of me in a circle around the bed. I also locked every other guy in the house into the tiny downstairs bathroom, and knocked them all unconscious.
