Is there going to be a follow up video saying that they were totally wrong because digital sales are much more prominent on the switch than the 3DS or just hide this in the closet like they did with bryan :P

The game sold 6 million+ units in its weekend launch making it the biggest debut of any game in the franchise, and we don't even know how many more it sold since then. But sure, yeah, "big disappointing flop because, uh... that's been our narrative for the last couple weeks. Anyways, back to shitting on Apex, Fortnite and Stadia."

@Secret_Flamingo I agree. I've been seeing the numbers for SWSH all over the Internet and then I saw this video and was like, "...wait, was I wrong?" Nope. IG is just being clickbaity.

@Secret_Flamingo oh my god they say in the video that they don’t have digital sales numbers when they recorded this. For fucks sake I’m not disagreeing that it’s a clickbaity title but at least watch the video and listen before you jump on the angry comment bandwagon. Digital sales were enough to skew the game from disappointing release to biggest switch title and if they weren’t significant enough to do that Nintendo likely wouldn’t have released numbers at all.

lol, people shitting on the reporting of sales for a mainline game that switched consoles from handheld to home console. worst sales figure for THE handheld game that's now on a new console is still good sales.

add the fact that in canada switches cost $100 + more in usa so its cheaper to get other consoles for the same as switch without a game

also i don't completely agree its selling worst however its i ts first time on a mainstream platform to connect to TV and also sun and moon did well since the 3ds had been out longer and Pokemon games were usually on a handheld device they did an awesome job to bring the 3d models to a TV console so i believe the sales will get better later on and i will continue to watch streamers play the next game for years to come (very well down for a mainstream game in my opinion and no i'm not including lets go series however that test was awesome to see if mainstream games would work and i believe it succeed really well)
