I vastly prefer to own games on disc, and stadia scares me. Once games move fully to cloud streaming, it is dead to me. Gaming is one of my greatest passions, and I really don’t know how I am going to deal with this loss.
The difference between Netflix and stadia though is that you don’t pump 1000 hours into a film only for your subscription to run out or stadia shuts down and you lose everything
Latency aside I look forward to seeing how the data usage will go. Even places that have solid internet speeds can have limited data usage through cable providers, so I'm curious what the difference will look like in usage compared to downloading a game once, and being done.
So a big thing that they don’t bring up is a lot of people hate Netflix because they constantly take away some shows or movies a lot of people like, an put garbage people don’t want so why would I want to give all my control to some one
